The parking lot at the Inn looks very empty this morning. Two white cars, ours and Shaffers are about it. We miss you all! We've been glued to the Weather Channel waiting to see if we can fly out tomorrow morning or not. We still don't know what the collision of the storms will do, but guess we'll get packed up and get ready to go.
We hope that you are all had or are having a good trip home and seeing and doing the things you wanted to do. Hope this storm hasn't caused any problems for you. We were happy to know that Bensons had made it to Florida. We worried about them and the first talk of the storm coming to Florida. We heard that Schmidts had made it to Toledo and were doing fine--even with her leg in a cast! She's a real trooper! So glad that Jacobsons made it back safely and in time for the viewing!
We'd love to have you share where you are and how things are going for you.
We went to the Palmyra Ward yesterday and the new temple presidency and wives were there and were introduced. Sister?? (can't remember their name) who is Susan Humphries sister, does look just like her! When I first saw her, I thought Humphries were back!
Sherwoods were there sitting clear on the back row of the overflow. We got to give her a hug, but he had headed back to the Inn to get ready to leave, I guess. They were packing up their car and he was wondering if it was possible to get everything in. Not a fun day to pack a car as it was raining like mad.
Our last family came over the week-end and although it was rainy and a lot of the trees were bare, it was wonderful to have them come. So many of the missionaries at the sites have gone and new ones are here.
What a blessing it has been to serve here with you! Thank you for your friendship and the kindness you have shown to us.
Our granddaughter Paige enjoying the leaves!
Sending love, Loye and Vaughn
